We are looking for reliable, creative and enthusiastic people to assist us in arranging successful fundraising activities. We are looking for people interested in helping in any or all of the following: local fundraising, events organisation, participating in their own fundraising events or challenges. The role is flexible to suit you and you could be arranging anything from cake sales and raffles to organising larger events or getting teams together for fundraising challenges.
We would also welcome support to assist us in obtaining support from local supermarkets and businesses that support a charity of the year.
This role is a great way to quickly add volunteer experience to your CV and to meet like-minded people and give back to your local community. You will also be a great asset to our team, helping to raise much needed funds to enable the charity to continue helping lonely and isolated older members of the community.
What we are looking for
Any or all of the following:
-Arranging and promoting fundraising events
-Getting teams together from our existing supporters to take part in sponsored challenges
-Approaching local businesses and supermarkets about being their Charity of the Year.
This role can be completed remotely, or at our office in Cross Street, Sale, Greater Manchester. All of our volunteers are required to complete an Enhanced DBS check. Volunteers must be 18 years old or over.
