Lauren, a volunteer who joined Cyril Flint Volunteers this year, is taking on a personal challenge and completing the UKFast City of Salford 10k on 4th September 2016 and is hoping to raise money for Cyril Flint Volunteers so that more lonely older people can be matched up with a friend.
Lauren does occasionally jog, but does not consider herself a runner and has been training three times a week in preparation for the big event!
